Winter Coats Will We See This Year?
Winter is fast approaching us as the nights start to draw in. If you haven't done so already,
it's time to start thinking ahead to what coats we're going to be wearing this year. The trends for
fall and winter have already been set, so let's take a look at the styles of ladies designer winter
coats that we can expect to see over the coming months ahead.
First up is the new trend in getting all wrapped up in capes and cloaks. What's the difference
between a cape and a cloak? Well they both wrap round you and are open at the front, but the cape
is just a shorter version of the cloak. Both will typically have no sleeves. They offer fantastic
protection against the elements and it's nice to see something coming in that hasn't been chic for
quite some time. Can you remember the last time it was hip to wear a nice big and warm cape that
looks kinda like a blanket? Love it!
Next up is the military jacket. This trend has been going strong all year and looks set to
continue into winter. A personal favorite of mine as their very good for those of us with less on
top. All the detailing down the front does wonders for my look personally.
Furs are back with a vengeance this year. Your own personal ethical standpoint dictates whether
you look for fake or real, but my preference is always with the fake fur.
Finally the big shoulder jackets of the 80s are making a return this year so keep an eye peeled
for them when you are shopping online.
